Thirty- two persons have been arrested in connection with the communal clash that happened in Iwaro- Oka in Akoko South West Local Government areas of Ondo state.
Two persons were killed in the clash which began on Sunday night involving three communities.
The affected communities are Owaki, Ebo and Oka -odo. Mostly affected by the clash is Oka-odo where some buildings were razed and properties destroyed.
The state commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, revealed on Tuesday that 32 suspects are currently in custody in respect to the clash.
He disclosed this when he led top police officials to the affected communities.
The CP said the police should be commended for their urgent intervention in the affected areas.
He said those arrested would be made to face the full wrath of the law.
