The former deputy governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has indicated interest in the governorship race of Imo State, in 2027 saying he has marshalled out a blueprint tailored towards the needs of the people.
Prince Madumere who celebrated his 61st birthday weekend, in a statement, urged the citizenry to hang on for the big beautiful deal, trust and believe for a future laced up with policies for sustainable development as against endless hope and twists.
The former deputy governor, who noted that he is like a ‘sweet wine’ tried and tested, which gets better on a daily basis, having garnered experience on governance as the engine room that propels the wheels of administration.
According to him, experience coupled with the magical wand to turn things around, economically, infrastructural, fine-tune security architecture and create the conducive environment for businesses to thrive, places him in a vantage position.
“Madumere, a thorough breed administrator and Strategist even at 61 is ever prepared to restore the yearnings and aspirations of the populace and appealed for calmness and understanding of the citizenry,” he added.
Prince Madumere urged Imo people to open their eyes, choose capacity, acumen and dexterity as against mediocrity, stressing that the time has come to deliver the citizenry to the promised land through the Journey of Grace.
His words, “The time to change the narrative and trajectory is fast approaching and i salute the resourcefulness, courage and optimism of Imo people and together by His Grace and favour, we shall embrace and enter the promised land, laced up with milk and honey even as i march on at 61 fruitful years of God’s Mercy, Grace and protection.
“Let’s together build a future for ourselves and the next generation. Approach the same with optimism, doggedness, and positive mindset, unity of purpose, aimed at building an egalitarian society where everybody’s needs and aspirations metamorphosis from dream to reality”, he added.
