The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company NDPHC, Engr. Jennifer Adighije has disclosed that NDPHC has restored 230MW to the grid, pushing ₦500 billion in transmission upgrades and driving renewables under her leadership,
She stated this when she led a theme of management staff of the NDPHC to a courtesy visit to the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu in Abuja during the weekend.
Speaking at the occasion, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, commended Engr. Adighije, for her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to duty.
The First Lady lauded Engr. Adighije’s efforts in steering NDPHC with diligence, passion, and a deep sense of responsibility, describing her as a shining example of young women in leadership who embody rare qualities and virtues.
Senator Tinubu expressed her delight and pride in seeing young women excel in positions of great responsibility, noting that Engr. Adighije’s dedication serves as an inspiration to many aspiring leaders across the nation.
“I sincerely commend your efforts towards leading NDPHC with every sense of diligence and commitment and I can’t hide my joy and pride for young women who demonstrate rare leadership qualities & virtues as you have done”, she stated She further extended her warm regards to the entire Management and staff of NDPHC, urging them to continue supporting Engr. Adighije’s leadership vision in advancing the company’s mandate for the growth and development of Nigeria’s power sector.
