The minister of the federal capital territory FCT,Nyesom Wike, has confirmed that several projects will be inaugurated by May, to mark President Bola Tinubu’s second anniversary in office.
Wike made this known while inspecting progress of the construction of the 30.4 kilometer A2- Pai and Pai Gomani road projects in Kwali area council of the federal capital territory.
Wike expressed his satisfaction with the progress of road projects in the Federal Capital Territory, particularly the A2 to Pai road being constructed by Zerberced.
He commended the contractors for demonstrating capacity and commitment to delivering quality projects on time.
“Let me commend the location site where we are now which is been done by Zerberced , this is A2 to Pai and I’m very much impressed with what I have seen they both shown capacity and it means that they are going to deliver on time, this is what I have always said that we would give out jobs to those who show capacity and not on sentiment”, he said.
The minister noted that the contractors have completed about 12km of earthworks on the Pai to Gomani road, with piling work ongoing for the bridge.
He emphasized the importance of completing the earthwork before the rainy season begins.
“I’m happy and the communities are happy you can see how they came out in numbers to celebrate the progress of the work so far”, he said.
Furthermore, the minister also expressed delight with the progress of the road project in the agrarian community, noting that the road would greatly benefit the local farmers bringing joy and relief to the community.

However, the Minister thanked the support of the chairman of Kwali Area Council, traditional rulers, and youths in facilitating the project’s success.
